At Radio Joe 96.1, we take pride in keeping our signal strong and our broadcast quality at its best. This week, our engineering team completed a round of station maintenance designed to improve both reliability and performance for our listeners across St. Joseph and surrounding communities.
As part of the project, we installed new feedline for our antenna system. The upgraded cable improves power efficiency and reduces signal loss between the transmitter and antenna—meaning a cleaner, stronger sound on your radio. Even small improvements in feedline quality can make a noticeable difference in signal stability, especially during weather changes.
While the team was on site, we also took the opportunity to give the transmitter shack and studio gear a good deep clean—blowing out dust, inspecting connectors, and checking grounding points to ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently. These little details help extend the life of our equipment and keep the airwaves humming smoothly.
Our goal is simple: to provide the most reliable community radio experience possible. With the upgrades now complete, we’re back on the air sounding crisp, clear, and ready for your favorite local shows, music, and weather updates.
Thank you for your continued support of WRJE-LP Radio Joe 96.1 FM — your community voice, your hometown sound. 🎙️💚
